War in Ukraine: Kyiv football team played again for the first time

Dynamo Kyiv's under-19s played in the Youth League on Thursday, the category's Champions League. It was the first official game


For the first time since February 24 and the start of Russia's invasion of Ukraine, a Ukrainian team officially played football again.

This Thursday, Dynamo Kyiv's under-19 team faced Sporting Portugal in the round of 16 of the Youth League, the Youth Champions League.

Kyiv lost 2-1.

Two thousand supporters, including the captain of Dynamo's professional team and Ukrainian international Sergei Sydorchuk, attended the match, which was necessarily rich in symbols.

Dynamo players have been staying in Bucharest for several days.
