District league leader TSV Peiting is a guest at bottom TSV Moorenweis.
Coach Fabian Melzer warns against underestimating your opponent - and with good reason.
Peiting – Deciding tight games in his favor is a quality that can decide championships.
As far as this criterion is concerned, TSV Peiting has the best chance of winning the title in the district league 2.
After all, coach Fabian Melzer's men have won six times this season with just a single goal advantage.
But Melzer can do without such nail-biter games as in the first two games after the winter break against potential relegation candidates (3-2 against Jahn Landsberg, 1-0 against Maisach, both at home).
However, he does not want to rule out such a tight box in the catch-up game on Wednesday, April 13, at TSV Moorenweis (7.30 p.m.).
"We've always struggled against Moorenweis," admits Melzer.
He tries to hide the big difference in the table - his team leads the tableau, the home side are a distant bottom of the table and in acute danger of relegation.
"It will be a difficult away game, with floodlights at that," says Melzer.
He expects an opponent who will try everything to trip his team up because of his precarious situation in the table.
In the first leg, the Peitinger - no wonder?
- only just won 1-0, the Moorenweiser almost succeeded.
In terms of personnel, Melzer can draw on almost unlimited resources for today's mandatory task.
In addition to Elias Heiss, who is still missing, only Christoph Hertl is pausing due to muscular problems.
"But I still have a lot of choice," says Melzer, referring to his lush squad.
