Minister of Finance Avigdor Lieberman and Minister of Culture and Sports Hili Trooper have signed the 2031 facilities plan for the next decade


The Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Culture and Sports signed today (Tuesday) the facilities plan 2031, which will provide support for the construction, upgrade, renovation of sports facilities and the purchase of equipment for sports associations and associations, with a total cost of about three billion shekels.

Over the past year, the Ministry of Culture and Sports has worked on extensive strategic work in full cooperation with the Ministry of Finance, which aims to determine the policy of establishing facilities for the next decade, first through work of a steering committee attended by representatives of local authorities In consultation with the National Sports Council headed by Eric Pinto. 

As part of the program, which also includes government decisions for Arab, Bedouin, Druze and Circassian society in order to close gaps in the authorities in these companies, the ministry will support the establishment of: 

  • Five multi-purpose facilities Achievements with support of about NIS 350 million 

  • Four halls at an international level for the benefit of the basketball, hand and fly industries for NIS 140 million 

  • Three centers of achievement for the world of football with the support of about NIS 45 million 

  • Eight competitive complexes for the football hall with a support of about NIS 150 million 

  • Construction of halls for artistic gymnastics and equipment with the support of about NIS 35 million 

  • Upgrading football stadiums for Arab and Druze society with support of about NIS 97 million 

  • Construction of over 100 halls with support of over NIS 500 million 

  • Establishment and upgrade of tracks for motor sports with support of about NIS 76 million 

  • NIS 60 million for facilities for people with special needs / people with disabilities  

  • NIS 500 million for community sports facilities

In order to ensure that the support is utilized and the facilities are built, the ministry plans to assist the authorities required to assist in the implementation and execution of the facilities through an individual escort procedure that will be provided to them by the ministry.
