Karting: license withdrawn for the Russian driver suspected of having made a Nazi salute on a podium

LE SCAN SPORT – The Automobile Club of Italy has withdrawn the license with which he was racing from Russian driver Artem Severiukhin following his “unspeakable and unacceptable” gesture.


The gesture of Artem Severiukhin, a 15-year-old Russian karting driver strongly suspected of having given a Nazi salute on a Portimão last weekend, caused an outcry in the world of motorsport.

The International Automobile Federation immediately opened an investigation into the conduct deemed "

The Automobile Club of Italy, for its part, convened an extraordinary meeting to examine the case of the Russian who drives under an Italian license.
