Slinger Sergei Richter continues his great ability lately, when he won the silver medal at the World Cup in Rio today (Tuesday), with a 10-meter air rifle.
The 32-year-old Richter, who just two weeks ago achieved fourth place in the European Championship and won gold in the mixed competition with Tal Engler, passed the qualifying stage with a score of 626.2 points and was ranked only ninth.
According to the new method, in the semi-finals starting from zero points, the Israeli managed to score 261 points, with one after the other being overlooked and ranked at the end of this stage in first place, followed immediately by the Croatian Peter Grossa, when they both advanced to the final.
