Poland's Hubert Hurkacz qualified for the round of 16 at the Monte Carlo Open after defeating Spaniard Pedro Martinez.
Hurkacz managed to decide the outcome of the match in his favour, and beat his opponent Martins, 6-3, 6-4, 4-6.
He will face the Polish in the next round, Albert Ramos, who in turn overthrew the British Cameron Norrie.
