30,000 Frankfurters at FC Barcelona's Camp Nou - for the home fans that was the greatest "shame". Some Ultras are now calling for protests – others even want to stay away from the next game.

After the anger at FC Barcelona over tens of thousands of Frankfurt fans in the Camp Nou in the 2: 3 defeat in the Europa League, the ultra group "Grada d'Animacio" announced that it would boycott the home game against FC Cadiz this Monday.

"Thursday's events force us to take action (...) and for this very reason we will not take part in the next match between Barcelona and Cadiz," the statement said.

"Last Thursday we experienced what will always be called the greatest disgrace that happened at our stadium and made us stone guests at someone else's party," it said.

What happened was a “social humiliation”.

Allegations against club boss Joan Laporta

The fan association "Nostra Ensenya" also wants to protest in front of the stadium at 8 p.m., one hour before the start of the league game, the newspaper "Mundo Deportivo" reported.

On Instagram, "Nostra Ensenya" described the large number of guest fans at the game in which Frankfurt threw Barça out of the competition as a humiliation.

The association accuses club boss Joan Laporta of allowing this for financial reasons and of having "endangered" the "physical integrity" of the home fans.

The Ultras also focused their criticism on the money factor.

Coach Xavi also renewed his criticism.

The strong presence of the visiting fans played a role in the defeat, he said.

"The players didn't feel comfortable, which doesn't mean we weren't good.

But it affected us negatively.«

Laporta had already announced that it would only sell personalized tickets for international games in the future.

There were more than 30,000 Eintracht fans in the Catalans' stadium on Thursday, although FC Barcelona said it had only sold 5,000 tickets to Germany.
