Once again barely but winning.
World number one Novak Djokovic today (Saturday) defeated Russian No. 26 Karen Khachnov in three sets 4: 6-6: 1-6: 2, and qualified for the final of the Belgrade tournament.
This is the third game in the tournament in which Djokovic drops a battle against inferior rivals, and in general since the start of 2022 in the Serbian World Tour shows poor ability in the shadow of the vaccine saga and entry into the Australian Open.
The Serb will meet the winner of the tournament final between Italian Fabio Ponini and Russian Andrei Rublev, Gokowicz will want to win the tournament and continue his return to fitness ahead of the Roland Gross that kicks off in a month in France.
