The Betar Jerusalem coach celebrated with the players and fans the victory in the derby, which apparently promised the team another season in the Premier League

"We took a big step on the way to staying," Aboksis said, "We started the game badly and it took us a few minutes to get into the game until the red card. In the second half we were better and with another player, we need one more point to avoid all scenarios and speculations."

Hapoel Jerusalem players are disappointed,

On his future at Betar, the coach said: "My decision to come to Betar was an unequivocal good decision. I am dying to continue at Betar Jerusalem and make the team a good team next season.

"There are crazy energies here in this club, I really like it, but we do not know what will happen and I wish things would work out and I will stay."

Losing coach Ziv Arieh said: "The story of our season. We played good football at the beginning of the game, we pressed high, we made the turnaround mistake and then we had to go into a state of persecution and of course Betar ruled.

Arie continued "Another round has passed and we are above the red line. If we win the remaining three games we will stay in the league and that's what we will do. The team looks exceptional except for the sharpness at the front, we will do the job and I am convinced we will stay in the league"
