These two agree on at least two things: they have a good relationship and things need to “change”.
A few days after Keylor Navas' remarks about the hierarchy of PSG goalkeepers, Gianluigi Donnarumma in turn expressed the same speech after the championship title obtained on Saturday evening at the Parc des Princes.
“I am here to be a starter, proclaims the Italian European champion to the Sky channel.
As I said, for me it was a year of acclimatization: it was not easy to change clubs and habits.
I have an excellent relationship with Navas but, as he also said, this competition has not been easy.
Certainly things have to change.”
And that they rather evolve in favor of Donnarumma.
The former AC Milan goalkeeper has clearly displayed his ambition: "I want to stay at PSG and win the Champions League".
A subject on which he is more firm than Keylor Navas, who left the door open to leaving Paris despite the desires of his family, happy in France.
It remains to be seen what PSG will decide between Donnarumma, 23, and Navas, 35.
The most obvious option would be to permanently install the first in the position of number 1 in goal.
But the second signed a contract until June 2024 with a significant salary.
In case of departure, it would be necessary to find him a club at the height of his ambitions, sporting and salary.
