The Premier League is approaching its final stage for this season, with four rounds remaining until the end of the competition, as the twenty-third round starts today with one match between Police and Afrin at Al-Jalaa Stadium in Damascus.

The match holds important points for the police, if they want to escape the specter of relegation, as they occupy the twelfth place, and they must win over their competitor, Afrin, the fourteenth and last relegated to the first degree.

Tomorrow, this tour will be completed with the meetings of Tishreen, the leader with Al-Harjala, Al-Fatwa with Al-Karama, Al-Jaish with Al-Talia, Ahli Aleppo with Jableh, Al-Nawa’ir with Al-Wahda, and Al-Wathba with Hittin.

At Al-Basel Stadium in Lattakia, Tishreen will be on a date with Al-Hargla and will set his eyes on the match points that will bring him back to the path of victories again after his loss against Jableh in the last round, and it will also enhance his lead in the rankings.

In a statement to SANA, Tishreen coach, Tariq Jaban, said: We will not waste the points of the match and we will do everything we can to win to get closer to the league title, noting that the Hargla team has players who are good at controlling the ball and has a strong offensive line.

Al-Wathba, the runner-up, hopes to regain its balance and return to the competition for the lead, waiting for the leader to stumble in the remaining rounds, although hope is weak, through the gate of his rival, Hittin, when they meet at the municipal stadium in Homs.

Hattin coach Ahmed Hawash said that his team will play the match in high spirits after winning the last match against Al-Ittihad Ahli Aleppo, but this does not mean that we have passed the danger and entered the safe zone in the standings. We make every effort to win and advance more in the standings.

The Nawaeer will meet with Al-Wehda on the municipal stadium in Hama, while Al-Tali`a will face its rival, the Army, at Al-Jalaa Stadium in Damascus.

Al-Nawaeer coach Yasser Al-Bunni indicated that the team was officially relegated to the First Division, so we will play without any pressure, and I hope to come out with a positive result to satisfy our fans, who were not stingy with us and whose ambitions to remain in the Premier League this season.

In turn, Al-Tale’a coach Firas Qashoush stated that the team’s ambition is to enter the golden square, so its match with the army is of great importance because we urgently need its points to maintain our hope of occupying the fourth place, explaining that the team missed several important points during the past two rounds due to the absence of a number of influential players, which we had to To engage inexperienced young players in tough matches.

In the rest of the matches, Al-Fatwa will meet with Al-Karama at Al-Fayhaa Stadium in Damascus, and Al-Ahly Aleppo will meet with Jableh at Al-Hamdaniya Stadium in Aleppo.

Tishreen leads the standings with 53 points, followed by Al-Wathba with 46 points, Al-Jaish with 41 points, Al-Wehda with 35 points, Jableh with 33 points, Al-Fatwa with 32 points, Al-Tali’a with 32 points, Ahli Aleppo with 29 points, Al-Karama with 29 points, Hittin with 27 points, Al-Harjala with 24 points and Al-Shorta with 21 points, Waterwheels with 13 points, and Afrin with 4 points.
