Despite a strong first half, the handball players of SpVgg Altenerding had the next clap.
Altenerding – The bottom of the state league lost at SC 04 Schwabach with 28:39 (17:18) goals and is still waiting for the first points of the season.
The guests started with vigor and showed themselves to be in good shape in terms of play.
The Altenerdinger made the game wide forward, the ball landed again and again on the outside.
Luis Leitner used almost every ball in his hands for dangerous actions, and his trainer Peter Mesiarik praised: "Luis was by far our best man, he worked both in defense and in attack." Christian's hard throws matched that Loris from the backcourt and the game was balanced.
After the 9:11 from SpVgg's point of view, there was even a run with four goals in a row, Leitner scored after almost 20 minutes to make it 13:11 for Altenerdinger.
To the chagrin of the guests, however, Loris was injured after an unfortunate action and was only able to continue in pain after a long break.
That hampered him, especially in the second half.
After the break at 17:18, it was only tight until 20:21.
As a result, the indiscipline increased, especially from the middle, the wrong decisions were made again and again, Mesiarik complained.
Neither Simon Rüdiger nor Thomas Peteranderl would have had their best day in this position.
The defense was now full of holes and the number of mistakes increased.
After the 21:26 there was still a small rebellion with two hits to 23:26 - but afterwards the favorite pulled away.
Mesiarik: "It's a pity, we actually had big plans for the second half.
Unfortunately, the men didn't do what I asked of them."

Today catch-up game against Sauerlach
The Altenerding handball players have the next chance to do better this Tuesday at 8:30 p.m.
Then the catch-up game against seventh-placed TSV Sauerlach begins in the Semptsporthalle.
As always, the favorite role clearly lies with the opponent, emphasizes Mesiarik: "Everything has to go well and we have to perform consistently for two halves so that something is possible."
At least the district is no longer deserted like it was in Schwabach: Quirin Huber and Matei Serban are returning to the squad and should use their experience to ensure more stability in defence.
The coach: "I hope that Christian Loris will be fit again before the game, but we'll have to wait and see."
In Sauerlach there was a clear bankruptcy for the beaver men.
The opponent's fast style of play repeatedly caused big problems for the people from Altenerding: "We just have to be secure at the back and minimize the number of mistakes up front," hopes Mesiarik.
Otherwise his troops would be overrun again: "We're just a grab bag, let's see what pops out in the end."
