Hapoel Haifa is looking for a coach for next season, and one of the candidates is Marco Belbul.
In the first talks that took place between the parties, a dispute arose that is doubtful whether it is resolvable.
Confusion is interested in coming up with its own team, including assistant Paul Groves, goalkeeping coach Giora Antman and a new fitness coach, while owner Yoav Katz prefers to leave the existing team, with assistant coach Meir Ben Margi, goalkeeping coach Pini Avraham and fitness coach Danny Bibbs.
In light of these things, it is hard to believe that the parties will reach an agreement - and Hapoel Haifa will turn to other coaches, including Slobodan Drapic and Shlomi Dora.
Beyond that, the next coach will have to decide on quite a few players, who do not yet have a contract for next season.
Haifa has options for Gal Erel, Anthony Isochukov, Dudi Twito, Ness Zamir and others.
As for Nisso Capiloto and Dor Malul, this is an option that will be automatically renewed if they reach a certain quota of performances, but at the moment they have not done so yet.
Malul is one of the club's top earners, and in any case, even if he continues, Haifa's desire is to cut his salary.
