To mark Holocaust Martyrs 'and Heroes' Remembrance Day, which took place today (Thursday), Gideon Lotan, a Holocaust survivor who came to the Khodorov complex and shared the Hapoel Tel Aviv players and the club's professional team with his personal and powerful story, arrived at the Khodorov compound.
In his simple words, Lotan managed to convey the atrocities he and his family went through.
At the end, he received a shirt and a certificate of appreciation from the group's CEO, Odelia Friedman, who thanked him: "The activity of the 'Living Room Memory' association is very welcome and we are proud to be a part of it.
It is important to pass on to the younger generation the stories of atrocities first hand - and as long as we are given the right to come into contact with the people who have experienced it firsthand.
We started a tradition last year and I am glad that this year too all the members of the club came to hear and respect Gideon Lotan and of course the memory of the six million who perished.
Remember - and never forget. "
