Barça recovered its most martial version in Munich to mark territory against Bayern and place itself one step away from the Final Four in Belgrade.

With Mirotic as general captain (25 points, six rebounds and three assists), Calathes acting as quarterback (8-7-8), and Smits deploying as a foot soldier, Jasikevicius's men achieved a strategic victory in the third game of the Euroleague quarterfinal tie and recovered the home court factor with determination and robustness.

Bayern sinned with complacency after the competitive tribute that took place a week ago at the Palau and their mental weakness collided with the rockiest version of Barça.

Jasikevicius' men got serious to correct the imbalances and displayed their powerful repertoire to place themselves one win away from the Final Four.

Before breaking a sweat, Bayern was out of temper for the rest of the night.

Without the appeal of Hilliard (who broke his collarbone in the first round of the tie) and without arguments to support the intrepidity shown in Barcelona.

Davies and Exum mark territory for Barça

To clear up the doubts accumulated in the first two games of the series, Barça sharpened the purpose of amendment with a staging full of intensity, concentration and defense in Munich.

Laprovittola showed off with 9 points in the first four minutes (with three triples without fail) and Mirotic completed the resounding Barça partial (5-18, m. 5) that left Bayern shivering.

Weiler-Babb did not find the pulse of the game, Deshaun Thomas did not even remotely resemble the one from the Palau and Lucic could barely add a dropper to reduce the dominance of the culé.

Bayern approached when Barça slowed down to gauge the size of their stampede, but between Exum and Smits they resumed physical and tactical firmness in a big way to redouble the bet.

From 17-22 in the ninth minute, it went to 17-30 just two later, and Trinchieri had to read the card to his team.

But the voracious defense of Jasikevicius's team did not allow any gap for the German reaction and the Exum-Smits duo unraveled the score (22-39, m. 15).

With 6 of 22 shooting from the field, Bayern was languishing against a very conscientious rival, tough physically and mentally, and with Mirotic leading from the quartermaster (12 points, four rebounds and two assists in the first half).

An exercise in concentration (only one Barça loss) and proof that he only interrupted the half-time buzzer (31-49, m. 20).

After the adrenaline rush of the first 20 minutes, Barça tried to apply chloroform to anesthetize Bayern's spirit of rebellion.

Calathes took the yo-yo and when they were marked by his base, Jasikevicius's men tried to cradle the game to avoid shocks, while dosing the deposit and the attack.

But the blow that Davies took on his right shoulder, after a clash with Radosevic, was a setback for the Catalans – he was left in a scare.

And Bayern took advantage of it to shake off their inferiority complex for a few moments.

The German team rowed to turn the 35-53 into a 49-59 coinciding with the end of the third quarter.

Until Mirotic quelled the mess and definitively sealed his rival.

Tomorrow, on the same stage of the Audi Dome, Barça will have the first

to also seal their passport to Belgrade, where they will meet Madrid in the semi-finals.
