We have another representative in Division 1 next season: Guard Raziel Hayun enrolled at Manhattan College, Israel Today learned for the first time.
Hayun (21, 1.93 m), a player of Maccabi Haifa last season, grew up in the youth department of Maccabi Tel Aviv and last season was on the staff of Hapoel Eilat.
This season he averaged 5.3 points in the green uniform in the national league and qualified with the team for the quarterfinals of the playoffs.
The talented guard also reached the Balkan League final with Maccabi Haifa, averaging 5.9 points (47.4 percent for 3) and 1.1 assists per game.
In 2019, the young player was an integral part of the youth team's winning the European Championship Level B and returning to Level A.
Hayun, who registered for the college through the Uvision agency that brings Israeli actors to colleges and high schools in the United States, joins two other Israeli actors who recently joined Division 1, Yarin Hasson and Shachar Lazar.

Manhattan College is located in the largest and most impressive college location in the United States.
The institution's basketball team is playing in the MAAC conference from which the NCAA, St. Petersburg College Finals Tournament Surprise came out last season.
The coach is Steve Massielo, the trainee of the legendary Rick Pitino, who went a long way under him as an assistant coach until he got the job in Manhattan.
Chris Smith, who played with Hayun at Maccabi Haifa this year, also left Manhattan College.
