Bayern sports director Hasan Salihamidzic has no tendency with Ajax star Ryan Gravenberch - FC Bayern should see Piotr Zielinski as an alternative.

Munich – FC Bayern Munich is facing a change in some positions.

Thomas Müller continues to play in the tenth position, in attacking midfield.

The 32-year-old is not in his best phase at the moment.

As is well known, however, this can change quickly, Müller is about to extend his contract with the record champions.

With Jamal Musiala and Marcel Sabitzer, FC Bayern has staff in this position, the Austrian should be a candidate for sale.

How does FC Bayern plan in central, attacking midfield?

Piotr Zielinski

Born: May 20, 1994 (age 27), Frankenstein, Poland

Club: SSC Napoli

Market value: 50 million euros

Position: Center Midfield

FC Bayern: Gravenberch has top priority

FC Bayern has been working on Ryan Gravenberch's commitment for months.

Hasan Salihamidzic recently mentioned on

Sky90: "

We are in talks, I can say that much." Salihamidzic added, however, that there was no trend yet.

Ajax Amsterdam is said to be asking for a fee of 30 million euros, FC Bayern should only be willing to pay 17 million.

Gravenberch is still the number one option for FC Bayern.

Negotiations are advanced, but the deal is far from over, as Salihamidzic's statements suggest.

The upcoming season will be long and exhausting, FC Bayern needs an alternative plan.

FC Bayern: Italian newspaper reports interest in Napoli star Zielinski

As the second largest Italian daily newspaper

La Repubblica

reports, FC Bayern has inquired about Napoli star Piotr Zielinski.

The 27-year-old from Frankenstein, Poland, has recently come into play unusually often only as a substitute.

SSC Napoli are said to be ready to negotiate, even though Zielinski's contract runs until 2024 and his market value is a whopping 50 million euros.

It is unclear from what transfer fee SSC Napoli would become weak.

FC Bayern: Ex-coach Paulo Sousa raved about Zielinski

What qualities make the Pole interesting?

“He sees and feels the spaces perfectly.

He has an outstanding sense of timing and passing angles.

He can speed up or slow down the game with just one pass,"

former

Poland coach Paulo Sousa said of Zielinski.

However, sometimes he wishes there was more adrenaline in the two-footed Pole's game.

This season Zielinski was not only used in central attacking midfield but also on the left.

It can be used flexibly.

In the past, however, the Napoli star was strongest in the Müller position, as a central ten.

There he is less challenged defensively than on the wing.

Bayern coach Julian Nagelsmann said at the International Coaching Congress 2019 in Kassel that he likes this type of player.

On the one hand flexible, on the other hand outstanding in one position.

How outstanding Zielinski is, however, is controversial.

Most recently, the Italian press attested him to be in a phase of weakness.
