There is every reason for collective celebration: Anzing's handball players not only celebrated Christoph Mayer's goal, but also two victories.

With two easy wins at the start of the Bayernliga playoffs, the handball players of SV Anzing impressively underpinned their claims in this promotion round.
The lions only won against TSV Lohr on Saturday in front of their own audience with 28:22, before they made it even clearer the following day - with a 28:19 at the Lower Franconia.

– "As a coach, you have a good sense of how a game is going," said SVA coach Hubert Müller after the opening win.
"And this time I had the constant feeling that we were dominating - even during the phases in which Lohr caught up again." First of all, of course, the home side pulled away in front of a sold-out hall and 400 spectators: Jonathan Limbrunner, Florim Hoxha and Tobias Fehrenbach brought the lions 3-0 lead;
a little later it was even 10:5.
After a time-out, the guests got into better stride and approached until the break (14:14).
However, this was also due to the fact that he sent his second guard to the record early on, reported Müller.
"It was just a minor industrial accident, nothing more." In fact, in the decisive phase, the people from Anzing shifted up a gear with seemingly no effort.
With a 3:0 run, they pulled away from the 45th minute to 25:20, with the strong Fehrenbach again showing off in the end.
In the final phase, the lions then confidently rocked the game home - to the cheers of their fans, who "simply created a great atmosphere", said Müller.
Since his team was leading for long stretches of the game, he was able to "rest one or the other", said the coach.
And that paid off the next day when the SVA arrived in Lohr after a grueling journey.
The guests got off to a better start there and were leading 5:2 after eight minutes.
This time, too, TSV came back up again, so that the break was 12:11.
The second half then began with a goal from Marinus and two goals from his twin brother Jonathan Limbrunner – to make it 15:11.
And by now, at the latest, most Lohr fans should have realized that their team would not be able to take anything countable from these playoff games.
In fact, the lions played down the remaining twenty minutes in the style of a top team before the scoreboard finally showed 28:19.
Now the next two duels in the promotion round are waiting for the Anzinger next weekend - against the current leader of the table, the DJK Waldbüttelbrunn.
