Athletes and sports in Israel often encounter budget problems which usually prevent them from obtaining equipment or attending competitions abroad, all with the aim of reaching the Olympic Games.
The sailing industry, which has known good days with Olympic medals, has recently started attaching the 49er model to its services, to crews who bought the boats with their own money and have been training in recent months ahead of the competition season opening, but recently discovered they have a budget hole.
As a result, in recent days, the staff members: Maor Abu, Tal Sadeh, Yam Wertheim and Ilai Reuveni, have started recruiting masses, with the goal of obtaining NIS 200,000.
The campaign said: "We are Maor, Yam, Tal and Ili, Olympic sailors who have decided to break new ground and represent Israel at the Olympics on the 49er boat, with the future of Israeli sailing in front of our eyes.
"The fulfillment of our dream depends first and foremost on us! Take advantage of every day, push to the edge in every training session to get better and move forward, but in order to compete at the highest levels against the best sailors in the world, we need your support and together with you
We will reach an Olympic medal. "

The sailors went on to write: "Thanks to your support we will be able to realize our potential and meet the overall professional plan: purchasing equipment, boats, sails, and masts at the highest level, so that we can compete equally with our competitors in the world."
The sailors promise various prizes to supporters, such as hats, sailing lessons and more, hoping to attract enough donors and reach the destination.
