Relegation to the district league: SVA Palzing beats SC Baldham 2-0 in the first leg.

Palzing – The chances that SVA Palzing will be part of the district league for the second year in a row are good.

In a hard-fought first leg, the green-whites managed a 2-0 win against SC Baldham-Vaterstetten yesterday evening in front of 640 spectators at their home stadium.

Now the Ampertalers can even afford a narrow defeat in the second leg on Sunday (5 p.m.).

Whether it will be tight again in the fight for relegation is doubtful given the performance yesterday.

The Palzinger were the more mature, stronger team, who found better answers to a densely populated defensive bulwark in the mostly mixed game.
