When the Champions League was won, Toni Kroos didn't fit the questions: Real Madrid's midfield star simply left a ZDF reporter on the field - and then followed up again.

Toni Kroos gave a memorable interview after winning the Champions League final.

He found the questions from the ZDF reporter Nils Kaben so inappropriate that he used expletives before breaking off the conversation after a short time.

It started out harmless.

Kaben found Kroos in a good mood, having just won his fifth Champions League title.

Kroos said it was "a very special title".

It was the first time that all of his children had been in the stadium for a Champions League triumph, "and it's hard to describe how nice it is".

But then Kaben asked about the course of the game – and met with little approval with his view of the game at Kroos.

Given the course of the game, the victory was not at all a matter of course, said Kaben.

Kroos seemed a bit irritated and ended his answer with the words: "We won, that's it." Kaben followed up: "Was it surprising for you that Real Madrid got into a lot of trouble?"

That was the moment when the interview slipped in the direction of Rudi Völler's outburst of anger against Waldemar Hartmann in 2003 ("You're sitting comfortably in your chair, you've drunk three wheat beers").

Kroos: »You had 90 minutes to think about sensible questions, honestly.

And then you ask me two shitty questions.' It's not surprising to sometimes get into trouble against Liverpool.

In Kaben's subsequent statements, Kroos just shook his head before breaking off the interview, which Kaben commented on with the words "Now it's gone".

However, that was not the end of it.

When Kroos passed the ZDF camera again, he said in the direction of the reporter: "It's really bad.

Really bad, really.” And finally, when Kroos was already on his way to the next interview, you could still hear these words from the off on ZDF: “First you ask three negative questions.

You already know that you come from Germany.«
