The final of the Champions League between Liverpool FC and Real Madrid took place in Paris.

Los Blancos prevailed in the end.

Carvajal brings the ball sharply into the middle from the right, Vinicius Junior cleverly detaches himself from the second post and only has to push the ball over the line.

This is going to be really difficult for the Reds!

Now it's getting down to business!

Lucho Diaz and Eder Militao fight each other properly, the Real defender goes down at the end.

Referee Turpin gives Madrid a free-kick, which sparks debate.

After a few minutes, football is played again.

Liverpool presses, Real defends and somehow hopes for Benzema.

Liverpool FC are the better team, they have really good chances through Salah and Mané, but as is so often the case in the Champions League, Real Madrid almost took the lead out of nowhere.

In the end, however, the VAR took back Benzema's goal.

Salah!

Alexander-Arnold crosses back into the middle, Salah breaks away nicely and is free to head the ball.

However, this is not placed enough and goes into Courtois' arms.

31st Minute:

Now the game ripples a bit.

Or as the saying goes: The teams level each other out.

Real now pushes the ball back and forth a little more safely, while the Reds are now more interested in possession.

So there's little excitement.

But it's still exciting!

Real often loses the ball too easily in the game going forward, which is why Liverpool find it easy to get comfortable in the Royal half.

This year, Liverpool and Real Madrid will face off in the Champions League final at the Stade de France in Paris.

Four years ago, this game was ready in the fight for the title in the premier class, when the royal team won 3-1 (0-0) in Kyiv.

The tragic protagonist at the time was Loris Karius, who made two blatant mistakes for Real's victory and the associated title hat-trick for Toni Kroos in the Champions League.

Sadio Mané scored the goal for the team coached by Jürgen Klopp, who won the pot the following year with his Reds.

It was this Mané that caused a stir before the final this year!

Because: As with Mario Götze in 2013, FC Bayern has apparently put out its feelers for the offensive star.
