In a festive event with the participation of tennis stars Andy Ram and Harel Levy, a professional and impressive tennis center was opened for the first time in Hatzor HaGlilit.
The innovative tennis center will provide services and classes to tennis enthusiasts in Hatzor in particular and in the Galilee in general.
As part of the collaboration, the center will be managed by teams from the tennis and education centers in Israel.
Tuviel Edri, 24, who has Down Syndrome and has been a fan of Andy Ram since childhood, came to the event. "I really like tennis and play a lot with friends, I adore Andy Ram and my dream is to play with him,"
Very quickly the story reached a level that did not remain indifferent and invited Tuviel to play with him and Levy.
Excited Tobiel hugged the two and thanked them for the special experience.
Andy Ram said: "I was happy to meet and play with the lovely Tuviel, I can tell you for sure - a world champion has come from Hatzor HaGlilit, you will dream and you will succeed hugely!"
The head of the Hatzor HaGlilit council, Shimon Suissa, added: "The tennis and education center in Hatzor HaGlilit - a great news for our growing community and a wonderful opportunity for the future generation in the community."
The tennis and education center in Hatzor HaGlilit includes 6 tennis courts.
Throughout the year there will be a tennis training center for children aged 4-18 from beginners to advanced.
The children will be guided by a leading professional team in Israel, under the supervision of Ronen Morley and Lilo Tzarfati and under the management of Tal Amsalem, a native and resident of Kiryat Shmona, was an outstanding actor in his teens.
Has in recent years served as the director of the Knesset Tennis and Education Center.
