The relegation game between SV Raisting II and SV Söchering offered an entertaining football duel.

The SVR was still in the game with a goal in the last second.

Raisting – SV Söchering started their victory with an early corner from the left, with a late corner from the left SV Raisting II kept their hopes of staying up in the league alive.

The relegation game for the district class between the SVR and the SVS on Wednesday evening offered an entertaining football duel with a total of five goals and numerous chances.

A-Classist Söchering goes into the second game next Saturday with the advantage of a 3:2 away win.

Until seconds before the end, the guests could even dream of a two-goal lead, but after a Raistinger corner kick in the third minute of injury time, the Söcheringers unluckily maneuvered the ball into the net themselves.

SVS coach Christian Strobl quickly dismissed the faux pas: "We'll take it as it is." He certified his team's performance well: "We played with great commitment." before the break.

When the score was 3:1, Robert Kölbl (36') with a shot from the turn and Jonas Klemm (38') just missed.

A hit before the break would probably have given the SVR the final knockout.

"We slept through the first half," complained Raisting's coach Thomas Müller.

The hosts had a huge chance through oldie Ludwig Huber (he stepped in at short notice) and Söchering's keeper Domik Kölbl reacted brilliantly (2').

A quick corner from Söcheringer caused chaos in the SVR penalty area;

Klemm scored to make it 1-0 (5th).

Philipp Singer rewarded himself for winning the ball with a goal to make it 2-0 (14th).

Söchering was quicker and better in duels.

With a nice individual action, Alexander Schappele surprisingly shortened the lead to 1:2 (18th).

Huber's header (22nd) for the supposed 2:2 was not given.

"I can't believe it was offside," said Coach Müller.

Söchering's Tobias Nebl increased the lead to 3:1 (23rd minute) after good preliminary work by Josef Luidl.

After the break, Raisting had more possession and chances here and there.

"We can build on the performance in the second half," said Müller.

The SVS keeper responded well to Justin Steeg's shot (56').

A foul on the substitute and busy SVR player Samuel Nicolaisen in the penalty area went unpunished.

Söchering was always dangerous in counterattacks.

Shortly before the end, the guests had an urgent phase in which Christoph Taffertshofer failed with a spectacular overhead kick to goalkeeper Simon Kölbl (84th).

Raisting seemed to be on the ground, but reported back with the 2:3.

SVS coach Strobl is under no illusions: "It's going to be a tough fight" in the second leg.
