My first goal was to return to a normal life, as a father, companion and member of the family... Then it was time to think about football.
Luckily, the doctors did not detect anything abnormal for my return.
I went through a difficult year but it is a pleasure to be able to play football again.
It's something that was close to my heart, so I'm delighted..."
Six-month contract at Brentford

On March 26, he was recalled to the selection against the Netherlands in a friendly (2-4).
And scored in Amsterdam on his comeback… Lined up three days later in front of Serbia in Parken Stadium, the scene of the tragedy, he scored the 3-0 goal!
