With a 4:2 in the replay of the district league relegation against FC Hörgersdorf, Türkgücü Erding made clear the promotion on Friday evening.

A thunderstorm almost caused the next game to be abandoned.

But it remains a longer interruption.

Wartenberg - A completely normal game without any side effects, apart from the already given drama of a relegation game?

No, when FC Hörgersdorf and Türkgücü Erding meet, there always seems to be something on top.

After the end of the first duel in the 92nd minute because a spectator grabbed the linesman's arm (we reported), the weather didn't cooperate.

But at least: This time there was a final result - after a long break in the meantime - and that makes the Turks cheer, who won 4:2 (2:0) on Friday evening in Wartenberg in front of 1152 spectators and thus celebrate promotion to the district class.

Admittedly, it was doubly bitter for Hörgersdorf, as they had led 5:4 in the first duel and it would not have been much longer to play.

The FCH has not yet been relegated, but in another round of relegation it is now against TSV St. Wolfgang.

After the demolition so shortly before relegation was within reach, the mood in the FCH camp was correspondingly bad, the sports court decided to schedule a replay.

And the mood didn't get much better, because Türkgücü started strong and was in front after just four minutes: Hörgersdorf played a pass inside from right-back, Ertugrul Nacar intervened, grabbed the ball, couldn't be stopped and converted safely to 1:0.

The Erdinger seemed much more alert and focused than when they first met.

Outstanding man: Captain and offensive man Nacar, who kept letting himself fall and was always ready to play.

Meanwhile, it was already crashing down from the sky - lightning, thunder, rain, there was plenty of everything.

And in the 17th minute there was a crash in the TG penalty area: Goalkeeper Ahmet Kaya and an FCH striker collided, but the Moosburg referee Iris Spitaler allowed play to continue.

Only to interrupt the game a few seconds later because of the worsening weather conditions.

For more than half an hour it was over for the time being, spectators and players made their way to the dressing room, club house or car.

So the next game break?

No, it went on.

Even if it was getting pretty dark.

Floodlight at TSV-Platz?

none.

Things went back and forth on the pitch, Hörgersdorfer were now better in the game, even if the Turks were still the more secure and technically gifted team.

In the 27th minute, Mehmet Cay narrowly missed.

His brother Kaan Cay did better in the 30th minute: after a Hörgersdorf foul just before the edge of the penalty area, he put a free kick into the cross corner for keeper Johannes Wurzer.

In the 37th minute, Mehmet Cay failed alone in front of Wurzer, and then things got confusing.

Hörgersdorf's Michael Schraufstetter saw a yellow card after a foul.

A scuffle ensued, as a result of which Schraufstetter saw yellow and red.

Nevertheless, FCH had a real urge before the break with a few corner balls within a short time.

For example, Kaya was able to just fend off a shot from Markus Berger to the corner.

After the restart, both teams played full attack, it was a balanced affair - and quite dark given the lack of floodlights on the main square.

If it had gone into overtime, they would have switched to the next pitch - with floodlights.

When the guns get dusty

In the 52nd minute, FCH had to swallow the 0:3.

The Turks played a three-on-one situation nicely after a quick counterattack, Kaan Cay finished with a great lob over Wurzer into the goal.

Dead Hörgersdorf?

Are you kidding me? Are you serious when you say that.

First, Türkgücü was just able to scrape a shot from Denis Prsa off the goal line, then Martin Vorsamer fired a free-kick to the underside of the crossbar.

But Felix Stocklauser followed suit and pushed in (60th).

Lo and behold, just two minutes later Daniel Karpfinger headed in after a corner to make it 2:3.

Full-throttle football continued: In the 74th minute the game would have suddenly turned completely upside down, but Stocklauser put a corner saved too short from six meters over the goal.

In the 79th minute the damper for all Hörgersdorfer hopes: Furkan Arslan headed a corner in the six-yard box to make it 4:2.

As a result, the Erdingers sometimes tried delaying the game, but their victory was okay in the end.

Hörgersdorf deserved the utmost respect, after all the team had been outnumbered for a long time, and that was quite remarkable.
