Along with Vladan Ivic and Eran Zehavi, Maccabi Tel Aviv is in talks to add a foreign brake.
The club have submitted bids for more than one candidate with one referral being to Jair Amador who played under Ivica and left with him two years ago.
Amador finished two years at Zaragoza and his contract was renewed as early as January for next season, after standing at a quota of 50 games in a season and a half.
The brakeman, who left a great impression on Maccabi Tel Aviv, also left due to his family's desire to return to Spain. The Yellows offer him a higher salary than his contract in Zaragoza and hence he is undecided.
Amador will be 33 in August but last season he missed just three games and played in the Zaragoza uniform in 39 games.
One game was missed due to yellow cards and the last two games of the season missed due to a medical problem.
