Hapoel Petah Tikva announced today (Monday) that it has signed an agreement with the entrepreneur and businessman Adam Neumann for support from Neumann on the club for the next three years, with an option for another two years.
Under the agreement, Neumann will double next year the amount that the fans will raise for the club's budget, up to a sum of NIS 1.5 million.
Already, the amount raised by the fans together with the doubling of Neumann, stands at over three million shekels for the group's budget.
This support joins Neumann's assistance to the club during the past season, in the amount of about one million shekels.
The agreement with Neumann is part of the club's vision, for cooperation with investors and businessmen who believe in a model of fan ownership, and in the way Hapoel Petah Tikva does under the "Blue" association.
Neumann's contribution is also intended to assist in the many programs the club runs for the community.
Among other things, the donation will be used by the club's strong youth department, which is played by about 500 children aged 5 to 18, and which has raised a number of players who are currently on the senior team, as well as other projects, such as a special needs group. Special Needs - Issues close to the heart of Neumann, who has contributed to them in other settings in the past.
