Russia's Dagestan district police today (Thursday) arrested MMA fighter Sharapodin Magomedov after violently assaulting a man standing with his girlfriend in front of Magomedov on an escalator in a mall, when the fighter woke a couple when they kissed, igniting an argument between the two men - and from there the road to melee was short.
It was not long before Magomedov landed a punch in the face of the same man, who had lost consciousness.
The incident happened on March 15, almost three months ago, when only now the Dagestan police responded to the incident and came to arrest Magomedov, who has since managed to reach a compensation agreement with the person who attacked.
Neither of the "two did not contact the police, nor did witnesses who predicted the incident," the Dagestan police said in a statement.
