Another controversy which the authorities who are trying to see clearly in the incidents at the Stade de France would have done well.
While during his hearing before the Senate, Erwan Le Prévost, director of institutional relations for the French Football Federation, had released that the videos showing the unfolding of the incidents had "been erased", the Paris police headquarters hastened to to specify, in a tweet, that “his” videos still exist.
“The images in the possession of the police headquarters are obviously still at the disposal of justice, within the framework of requisitions drawn up in a criminal investigation.
Do not confuse images of the police with images of a private operator,” she wrote.

Thursday, Erwan Le Prévost, director of institutional relations for the FFF, explained that the images held by the federation and the Stade de France were no longer available.
“The images are available for seven days.
They are then automatically destroyed.
We should have had a requisition to provide them to the different populations”, had slipped the leader of the FFF, who spoke of the “extremely violent” recorded scenes.
His statements had led to a new controversy, in a decidedly very confused file.
