Just a day ago, it was announced that Xenit, Xavi Pasqual, the coach of Zenit, is on the verge of signing with Maccabi Tel Aviv on a three-season contract.
The esteemed and experienced coach, who signed a contract with the Russian team that will probably not play in the Euroleague next year, has reached an agreement with the Yellows, and the deal is expected to be officially closed this coming weekend.
Either way and despite the publications, Vadim Mikhalevsky, the Spanish coach's agent did not agree to Nadav this morning (Saturday) too much information about Pasquale's future all in a local interview.
"True, there are some Euroleague teams interested in Xavi, but at the moment it's just speculation," the agent explained. "Xavi Pascual has a valid contract with Zenit. "It's clearer. I can only say that at this point everything that appears in the media is speculation."
