Montreux Harrell, a Charlotte Hornets player, is charged with drug trafficking - according to reports that arrived this morning (Tuesday) in the US.
In fact, the 28-year-old Earl was arrested as early as May 12 in the city of Richmond, Kentucky.
A search by police officers who arrested the actor found 3 pounds (about 1.4 kg) of marijuana in his vehicle.
Harl reportedly initially admitted that there was a small amount of drugs in his pocket, but when police conducted a search, they found a backpack full of sealed bags of the drug in a vacuum.

It has now been revealed that such an offense, which is considered his first, could lead the player to a severe sentence of up to five years in prison.
So if convicted, the continuation of his career is in doubt.
As you may recall, the player started the season at the Washington Wizards alongside Danny Abdia, and traded to Charlotte last February.
On July 1, he is set to become a free agent.
