Last Rise: Costa Rica Qualified for World Cup 2022 | Israel today

Last but not least. 

Costa Rica has secured its final ticket to the 2022 World Cup in Qatar after a sweet little win tonight (Tuesday) - 0-1 against New Zealand.

After only three minutes, the moment awaited the team from Central America most of all.

Joel Campbell, ex-Arsenal, Villarreal and more, and now a Mexican player from Club Leon, got a ball in the box, swung his leg and sent the ball into the net.

By the end of the game the visiting team was still trying to get back into the game, but its chances were snatched a big blow after a foul by Costa Barbarosses.

The New Zealand player first saw the yellow card, but a check on the VAR changed the referee's decision, who pulled out the red card for him.

Costa Rica qualifies for the World Cup for the sixth time in its history and will try to recreate the incredible achievement from the 2014 World Cup - where it was stopped only in the quarter-finals. 

Although she is already experienced in ousting teams bigger than her, this time Costa Rica's road will be difficult again, as she joins House V which includes Spain, Germany and Japan.
