The 2022/2023 season officially started at Maccabi Tel Aviv tonight (Friday), with the landing of coach Vladan Ivic, who arrived in Israel with his team for a second term in the team he led in the not too distant past to two consecutive championships.
After landing at Ben Gurion Airport, the Serb left for Tel Aviv to rest towards the start of work at the start of next week, when he will start assembling the Yellows' squad for next season.
Ivica wants to strengthen the team with a foreign stopper and a winger, along with bringing in Nir Bitton and Eran Zehavi, of course, while at the same time deciding the future of some of the team's players, such as Matan Hozaz, Eden Shamir and Guyagon Prafa.
Next week, Maccabi Tel Aviv will go to a training camp in Germany, in the city of Aachen, where it will hold two training matches, one against the local team, Almania Aachen, from the fourth division.
