Triple jumper Hannah Knyazeva Minenko, tonight (Saturday to Sunday) achieved an amazing result of 14.47 meters, in a competition in California.
Knyzeva Minenko, 32, improved her year-end result by 31 centimeters, all less than a week before taking part in the World Championships in Oregon, USA.
This is a result that would have given her sixth place at the last World Cup in Qatar in Qatar, in which she did not participate due to injury.
It should be noted that Minenko likes to stand out in the big events, when at the 2015 World Championships, she won the silver medal.
In the same competition, the high jumper Jonathan Kapitolnik, passed 2.25 meters, but failed to achieve a result of 2.30 meters, which would have equaled his result of the year.
The World Youth Champion will also be the first to enter the competition circle, when he does so this coming Friday, the qualifiers that will open at 20:10 Israel time.
The World Athletics Championships, which open Friday night for the first time on U.S. soil, will last ten days.
This is a championship that was postponed from last year due to the corona plague.
