Israeli climber Moore Sapir (31), the world champion in Paralympic climbing, won the silver medal last night (Saturday) in the World Cup held in Villars, Switzerland.
Sapir finished the qualifying round in second place, qualified for the finals and where he finished with the silver medal.
In doing so, the Israeli completed winning a medal in each of this year's World Cup round competitions.
In the first competition held in Salt Lake City he picked up the gold, while in Innsbruck (Austria) he finished in third place.
The world champion summed up the competition: 'After I became world champion last year, I was afraid that this year I would experience a drop in tension, but it only made me even hungrier.
I am so happy that after this year's gold and bronze medal, I finished the round competitions with a silver medal, which teaches me that I am in the top, but also that I have more to improve on.
Appetite is open to prove to me and the world that these hands can do anything. '
It should be noted that Sapphire lost all his fingers during the avalanche disaster in the Annapurna ridge in 2014, and is the only wall climber in the world to compete without a finger in his palms.
