We ticked off: Today's summary clip, 18.7 (Sports 1)

My Jamaican runner Anne Fraser Price continues her impressive career, when this morning (Monday) she spectacularly won the world title in the 100-meter dash for the fifth time (!).

Fraser Price finished first in the final run, setting a time of 10.67 seconds to complete another stunning sweep to Jamaica.

"It's my best title, my favorite," Fraser Price said after the fifth win, "do it at 35! Yeah yeah, I said 35!".

With five gold medals at the World Championships and two more from the Olympics, she shows no signs of slowing down, when in fact it is her fastest time of all seven of those victories.

Her continuity is impressive, when she took her first degree at the championship 13 years ago, in Berlin 2009. In total she has 10 gold medals at world championships in the 100, 200 and 4X100 races.

Three of the degrees came after she gave birth to her eldest son in 2017.

She now hopes she can set an example for other women.

"I feel blessed to have been born with this talent, which allows me to continue to do so even at 35, to have a child, and still continue, hoping I can inspire women who will believe they can continue their journey despite everything," the winner said, "I even Can't imagine now the amount of obstacles I faced, the number of times I had to overcome difficulties and recover, and here I am again.

"I always keep telling myself that sometimes it does not happen, because you no longer have the ability, but it did happen at the right time.

It was the right moment, and that's why I'm so grateful for this continuity. "

Fraser Price jumped as usual in an excellent way and opened a gap from her rivals, and managed to beat her compatriots Shrika Jackson who finished with the money in a time of 10.73 seconds and Elaine Thompson pregnant who set a time of 10.81.

"I know that if I'm healthy, I'm going for the title," she said, "I'm still hungry, I still have motivation, I always believe I can run faster, and I'm not going to stop believing.

This is the first time in history that a country has completed a sweep on the podium at the World Championships in the women's 100m, although Jamaica managed to do so at the Olympics - last year with the same trio, and also in 2008.

"This is my third time being three Jamaicans on the podium, and it's very exciting, and to be the one to win."

Thompson Hera, who won a double in two consecutive Olympics and recorded the second-fastest time ever in the 100 meters just behind Florence Griffith Jr., is still without a 100-degree title at the World Championships.
