The "sanctions" continue.
JK Rowling, the best-selling author and author Harry Potter, has previously provoked much outrage among her fans around the world and in general, and it is now known that another step has been taken against her.
The World Quidditch Association, most of whose interest has been directed at the successful book and film series, has decided to officially change its name to "Quadball" after adopting the league's initial decision to do so.
"The World Quidditch Association is excited to join USQ and MLQ (U.S. Leagues) in changing our sports name and supporting this change among our members around the world," said Chris Lau, chairman of the association's board of trustees.
"We are confident in this move and we look forward to all the new opportunities that Quadball will bring. This is an important moment in the history of our sport, and I am personally excited to be a part of it."
Quidditch will become "Quadball," the leading organizations of the "Harry Potter" -inspired sport said, citing financial obstacles imposed by Warner Bros.

As you may recall, the decision to rename the industry was already made last December, but now it has become official.
This change stemmed from a desire to no longer be identified with Rowling, who had previously spoken out against the transgender community and said that anyone who has undergone a sex change and is not menstruating can not be a woman.
The author's controversial tweet series about the community provoked much outrage around the world and industry executives responded quickly: "Our sport has a reputation as one of the most advanced industries in the world when it comes to gender equality and inclusion."
