about the son of Formula 1 icon Michael Schumacher.
"Mick has had a difficult few weeks and we are all happy that he has now made a good breakthrough," says Rosberg, who also referred to the fast pace of motorsport.
"He's had to take a lot of criticism.
When I open the newspapers these days, I don't read any criticism of him at all," the German-Finn said in amazement.
After eighth place in Great Britain "everything was forgotten again".
"That's the crazy thing about our sport, but also the beauty for Mick."
Nico Rosberg: Mick Schumacher "still needs time in his development"
For Schumacher, this is "psychologically worth an awful lot, because he's now finding a positive mental spiral," analyzes the former Williams and Mercedes driver.

At the same time, he warns the Haas driver against an early change to a top team: "He still needs time to develop.
The past races have shown that."

Rosberg: Schumacher should "take his time" - Haas pilot remains humble
That's why it would now "make sense for him to take his time before aiming for a top team," says Rosberg, who reinforces his argument with a suitable example.
“We also saw that with George Russell, who drove at Williams for three years and then was ready to move up to Mercedes.
You don't have to rush into anything.” Russell is currently in fifth place in the drivers' standings with 128 points. He only failed to score once this year.

Schumacher himself is calm when it comes to his future.
"It's only my second year.
In Formula 1 there is so much more to learn besides racing.
Every day I try to take advantage of that to see where I can improve," he said in his humble way. Most recently, he missed the presentation of the NRW State Prize to his father Michael due to stomach problems in order to spend the weekend in southern France to be fit.
In Le Castellet he now wants to secure the points hat-trick.
