Relief for François Gabart.
At the heart of a dispute concerning the conformity of his Trimaran SVR-Lazartigue, deemed irregular by the Ultim Class before the start of the Route du Rhum, the French sailor won the battle brought to court by the Kresk group, owner of the maxi -trimaran.
In the decision handed down this Thursday by the Judicial Court of Paris, justice authorized to take the start of the Route du Rhum “
in accordance with the memorandum of understanding which had been signed with the Ultim Class
”.
François Gabart will therefore be at the start of the transatlantic race in Saint-Malo on November 6th.
