- This is my 50th Tour and I have witnessed one of the most exciting, contested and spectacular.

Of course, there is this duel between Vingegaard and Pogacar, but I loved the state of mind developed.

In recent years, we had rather seen teams transformed into a steamroller and it jumped from the back while, for three weeks, we had the right to tussles between the best, and in front.

We thought Tadej Pogacar had left to dominate the Tour for years, but it was a new phenomenon, Jonas Vingegaard who dethroned him…

There is not one but two phenomena.
