At 30, Kevin Mayer knows himself by heart.
After his painful abandonment at the Doha Worlds in 2019, the decathlete took charge of himself, separating from his trainer Bertrand Valcin, and more recently, from his physical trainer, Jérôme Simian.
"I always wanted to do it my way, by listening to my feelings," he says.
During confinement, I trained on my own, and I loved it.
