Summary: Hapoel Tel Aviv - IMT Belgrade 1:1 (Sport1)

Hapoel Tel Aviv is in talks with investors from the Emirates, who have expressed interest in purchasing the club.

The talks are still in the early stages, but the investors have already received all the details regarding the club's obligations and the required investment, and have conducted tests on Israeli football and the revenue potential.

In fact, these are talks that started several months ago, but got stuck due to bureaucratic difficulties that have not been resolved until now.

Despite this, the buyers do not give up and check options to do it in another way.

Minister for Regional Cooperation Issawi Frij said in "Shavbartu" that the Emiratis were close to closing and "it got stuck because of international interests".

The minister also added that he hopes that "in the future it will be possible to promote the move".

Maybe in the future it will happen.

In recent weeks, the owners of Hapoel Tel Aviv have published several statements according to which they are ready to vacate the premises and put the club up for sale - this in the shadow of a subscription boycott announced by the fans (a boycott that was later lifted).

In a statement on behalf of the owners at the beginning of June, it was written, among other things: "We said in the past and we repeat, we commit ourselves and say - as long as a person comes with means whose financial capabilities are high, we will give him all our holdings without any consideration and we will immediately return to the stand. In addition - as long as a person comes, even an owner More modest measures - and he will agree to take on the day-to-day management for several years, even then - on the same day, we will step aside from the day-to-day management, but that person will have to return part of the owner's investment."

About a month ago, Meir Toshev, one of the owners, published an open letter to the fans in which he wrote, among other things: "We have entrusted to Attorney Roi Rosen documents that are signed by all the owners, so that a potential buyer who is interested in receiving the management rights can receive all the information required for this purpose In a simple, quick and professional procedure, I guarantee that."
