The football tournament that SpVgg Langenpreising is currently organizing to celebrate its 90th anniversary is a hit.
Or even better: there are many direct hits, because the games are very goal-rich.

- Rainer Schmidmüller, sporting director of the SpVgg, is delighted with so much offensive football and can explain the flood of goals.
“You can tell that all the teams are still in the preparatory phase.
There is still a lot to be tried out.” In addition, it is a tight program that the teams have to complete – “and at these temperatures”.
Schmidmüller is impressed by the performance of his own team (“Especially against Reichenkirchen), but also by SVE Berglern, who not only played in the tournament but also played in the Toto Cup.
The two teams will contest the final on Sunday.
In addition to fame and honour, it is also about 50 liters of beer, which the Erdinger brewery and beverages Spirkl offered to the winner.
But the SpVgg boss promises that the other participants who will play in the other placement games will not miss out either.
In the small final, the Derby Fraunberg rises against Reichenkirchen.
TSV Wartenberg, who only came second in the preliminary round, is playing for fifth place against SV Zustorf.
