It is done.
After their victory against Hong Kong this Saturday (44-22) in the decisive play-off for the Asia-Pacific region, Tonga have validated their ticket for the 2023 World Cup and will therefore be traveling to France.
They will face defending champions South Africa, Ireland, Scotland and Romania in Pool B.

For its part, Hong Kong still has a chance to validate its ticket for the World Cup and France.
Indeed, the Dragons, who are looking for their first qualification in their history in the World Cup, will participate in the repechage tournament in November.
They will face Portugal, the United States and Kenya.
The winner will then be transferred to Pool C with Wales, Australia, Fiji and Georgia.
