The new entrant to the Premier League in soccer, Sektia Nes Ziona, was supposed to host its games this season at the Haberfeld Stadium in Rishon Lezion, but at this stage the soccer association and the league directorate do not approve the stadium for hosting games.
At the manager's request, the club began to look at possible alternatives, such as Shlomo Insurance Stadium in Petah Tikva.
"Last week, a tour was held by the Football Association, the league director and the broadcasting franchisee to obtain the stadium's licensing status," Bens Ziona said, "Unfortunately, during the tour it was discovered that as of this date, there are still a number of substantial gaps and the stadium does not meet the standards required for holding games in the Premier League, including the possibility to produce the broadcasts to the required standard."
Benes Ziona also added: "From the moment the director contacted us, we have been working day and night to try and change the evil of the rule, but unfortunately, even up to this moment, the necessary adjustment works at the Rishon LeZion Stadium have not been completed. We hope that the necessary works will be done as soon as possible, so that we can hold the home games At the Rishon LeZion Stadium, as we were promised by the municipality."
