Departing from Troyes, the fourth stage of the Tour de France saw the Swiss Marlen Reusser triumph as a solo rider upon arrival in Bar-sur-Aube.
Leaving the peloton 20 km from the finish, the SD Worx rider broke away to cross the finish line more than a minute ahead.
She signs on the Grande Boucle, the most beautiful victory of her career at 30 and the first on a stage of a Grand Tour.

Behind her, a trio made up of the French Muzic, the Belarusian Amialiusik and the American Ewers who joined her competitors 8 km from the finish.
In the final sprint, it was the young Franc-Comtoise from the FDJ-Suez-Futuroscope team who took the lead at 1′24′' from Reusser, in the end of the stage marked by numerous falls on the earthy roads of the Dawn.
The Frenchwoman of the FDJ is 12th in the general classification.
The Dutch rider of the Jumbo-Visma Marianne Vos arrived in 5th position, leading the peloton at 1′40′', which allows her to keep the yellow jersey before crisscrossing the Vosges.
This is the first time in the Tour de France that she has not reached the podium of a stage, despite having triumphed on the second day of the race.
