One legend chases the other.
This one hovered well above the Ballons des Vosges this Saturday during the queen stage of this Renaissance Tour, and it flies away quite naturally towards a coronation this Sunday at the top of the Super Planche des Belles Filles.
Erect on her pedals, pointing her little face in the middle of a crowd rarely seen on the crests of Markstein Fellering which overlooks the Alsatian vineyard, Annemiek van Vleuten finally smiled.
