Alvaro Gonzalez
will break his contract at Olympique de Marseille.
The club and the Spanish defender (32) had agreed to find him a club by July 31, otherwise they would cut their story short.
But no offer fell.
Alvaro, who has two years left on his contract, played 11 matches with OM last season, the last of which was on January 2.
He had been bought for €4m from Villarreal in 2020.
