Dutch driver Max Verstappen won the Hungarian Grand Prix, which was held today in the Formula One World Championship.
Verstappen won the race despite starting from tenth and his car slipping on the track, and succeeded in imposing an advantage over British drivers Lewis Hamilton and George Russell, Mercedes drivers, who started from first and finished second and third, respectively.
World champion Verstappen consolidated his position at the top of the drivers' category by becoming 80 points ahead of his closest rival, Charles Leclerc, Ferrari's second-placed driver.
The Hungarian race is the 13th stage of the world championship, which includes a total of 22 races this season, and it was the last race before the summer vacation for Formula One competitions, as the next race will be held on August 28 in Belgium.
